Who are the Historically Marginalized People (HMP) that COPORWA supports?

Historically Marginalized People (HMP) are communities in Rwanda that have long faced social,
economic, and political exclusion. COPORWA focuses especially on the potters' community,
working to ensure equal rights, dignity, and opportunities for all.
What does COPORWA do?

COPORWA empowers communities through comprehensive programs including:
- Education and human rights training
- Gender equality and GBV prevention
- Livelihood development programs
- Environmental conservation initiatives
- Cultural promotion and preservation
- Policy advocacy and community mobilization
How is COPORWA organized?

We operate through six specialized departments that address key community needs:
- Education, Health & Gender - Comprehensive wellness programs
- Human Rights - Legal empowerment and advocacy
- Livelihoods - Economic development and skills training
- Policy Analysis & Advocacy - Systems change initiatives
- Culture & Environment - Heritage and conservation
